We have received Zonta International’s blessing to go ahead with the birthing kit project after taking action to establish a "cooperative" arrangement with CARE. There are a few simple rules that must be adhered to in order to proceed:

1) This is not a District 15 project, the District is merely providing information to the clubs within the District on mission focused service project options. Should your club be interested in participating in a birthing kit project, it must be approved at the club level by majority vote.

2) The Zonta International Policy on “Affiliation” with Other Organizations must be followed. A copy of this policy can be found on the District website.

a. The name of Zonta International shall not be included in any document related to the project. The name "Zonta Club of XXX" can be included.

b. The Zonta International logo shall not be included in any document or item related to the project. The “Zonta Club of XXX” logo can be included.

3) ZBK Partner Form A and ZBK Recipient Form B must be filled out by the Club wishing to participate and submitted to Darcie Clapp (USA Clubs) or Gayle Manley (Canadian Clubs) who will in turn submit it to the respective CARE representative for completion prior to scheduling a kit assembly day. The Club will fill out the items in blue on the form. The CARE representative will fill out the remainder of the form. Contact Darcie for these forms.
